Kultiration

Kultiration is a eight piece orchestra from the heart of Sweden, well known for their groundbreaking music and celebrated live performances. Many attempts have been made to label their music and words like reggae, jazz and Swedish folk music are often used to describe the bands unique sound. Still the music defies any such description, this is a sound never heard before, where instruments like violin, accordion and double bass mixes elegantly with the traditional reggae setting. With grounding messages and music that ranges from deep to elevated, from introspective to ecstatic the band has found a style that is now most easily labeled as simply; Kultiration.

The band is currently working on their 4:th studio album which will be released in April 2009 and feature most of its songs in English. The singles and videos for this release will be available in the beginning of next year.

Kultiration will be on tour in Scandinavia and Europe following the release of the album .

Kultirations intensity and vibrant presence on stage has earned them a solid live reputation with venues and audience as well as media in Scandinavia. Consisting of individually charismatic and expressive musicians, fronted with the unique vocals of lead singer Marcus Berg, Kultiration as a band is a live experience that leaves few untouched.
